The ministry
All Saints Chaplaincy was founded in 2018 to respond to the challenges facing school-going youth in Central Busoga Diocese. Rooted in its vision, mission, and core values, the Chaplaincy has opened one connected work: a school, a restoration centre, a community-health mission, and a fund. A partner who walks with All Saints walks with a young person from the classroom into a restored life, a healthier family, and a livelihood.
All Saints Secondary School
Working with Central Busoga Diocese, the Chaplaincy opened All Saints Secondary School to give disadvantaged youth an affordable, quality education. Many of these learners finish the Primary Leaving Examinations in Universal Primary Schools and then cannot enter secondary school because the cost is too high. The school exists so that a pass at primary level is not the end of their education.
Mission Restoration Centre
As further needs emerged, the Chaplaincy opened the Mission Restoration Centre to restore children and youth. Its vision is drawn from Romans 12:2: “…Be Transformed…” The Centre seeks to restore hope, dignity, and opportunity among vulnerable children, young people, families, and communities.
The work is one integrated approach: child and youth rehabilitation, family reintegration, vocational skills training, entrepreneurship, community health and nutrition awareness, HIV prevention, adolescent health education, psychosocial support, reconciliation, and Christian mentorship. Together these address the root causes of social exclusion and economic vulnerability, not only the symptoms.
The Centre works with churches, health facilities, local governments, training institutions, and development partners. Its aim is that a person can rebuild a life, earn a sustainable livelihood, and contribute to the community. This is the Busoga Model of holistic restoration and community transformation.
Mission For Community Health
The Chaplaincy has also opened Mission For Community Health. It equips churches and communities for integral mission, with a strong focus on community development and health. The children and young people we long to see transformed come from these families. Health in the home is part of transformation in the school and the Centre.
Mission Fund
After forming young people through the Mission Restoration Centre, and equipping communities and churches through Mission For Community Health, the Chaplaincy opened the Mission Fund. The Fund promotes group savings and access to friendly group loans. These groups encourage fellowship in the churches, so that restored lives are held by a community that can save, lend, and stand together.
